This is a perfect example of knowing what products to use on your interior and exterior projects. This client’s exterior door originally had lacquer on it. Since it was exposed to the sunny So Cal elements, it quickly deteriorated and began to peel. In order to restore it, the old crackling lacquer had to be scraped off by hand and power sanded down to allow for a smooth finish. Once it was dusted down and cleared of debris, two staining coats of Olympic Maximum Stain Plus Sealant was applied. This beautifully decorated door will last at least the next ten years.
